Balancing Accessibility and
Academic Integrity

Our app Messenger Pigeon is built with both faculty privacy and student accessibility in mind, providing tools that ensure students get the support they need, without compromising instructor rights or academic integrity.

Our Commitments to Faculty

Learning thrives when everyone feels supported. From faculty and administrators to the students they teach. That’s why we hold ourselves to the highest standards, meeting ISO 27001 and HIPAA compliance to keep our tools fair, secure, and accessible for all.

You retain ownership

All lectures, materials, and recordings belong to you or your institution. Habitat Learn never claims ownership or usage rights.

We’re privacy-first

Recordings are securely stored, accessible only to approved users, and never shared beyond accessibility support.

We act on behalf of your institution

We are a data processor, not a data owner. We provide tools to support institutions & students while following privacy standards.

You're in control

Recordings can be deleted at any time upon request. Soon, administrators will be able to manage and delete recordings directly.

No data used for AI training

Our AI tools never use your recordings to train or improve models. They exist solely to enhance accessibility and user experience.

We’re transparent by design

From data handling to system updates, we’re open about how everything works. You’ll always know what’s collected, who can access it, and how it’s used.
